  1. Our 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Course with Primary Series course is for the yoga practitioners of all levels. The course is a bit intense on body and mind. Difficulty level increases day by day.
  2. Our wise and experienced teachers make sure that all students are able to perform and learn in a very non-competitive and peaceful manner. It is recommended that all students start doing gentle yoga before coming for this course at home.
  3. All instructions in the course are in English only, so a basic understanding of English is required. For better adaptation with the environment, we recommend our students to arrive Rishikesh at least two days before the course date.
  4. This will help you acclimatize better and give some time to relax before the course kick starts. Further Rishikesh is a small city with good market. All the necessary supplies are available here, so bringing many books and too much material is not needed. Travel light and be more peaceful.

  5. Bring any specific medicines you use daily. But no need to pack all kind of medicines. Everything is available in nearby market.

You do not need to be flexible to enjoy yoga. Regular practice will increase your core strength, stamina, and well-being. It will also make you more flexible, but this is a bonus. It is not a requirement!
No, the course is too intense for pregnant women to complete.
To become a certified Ashtanga yoga teacher, you must complete the Ashtanga yoga teacher training course in Sri Yoga Ashram and show competence in teaching yoga.
It is highly recommended that you practice yoga regularly before attending this training. Ideally, you should practice Ashtanga Yoga or another vigorous form of Vinyasa Yoga at least three times a week to prepare your body for the training. The better in shape you are before the training, the more you will get out of it and advance in your practice.
Yes, we are registered with Yoga Alliance. Upon completion, you will graduate with a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification, which will allow you to register with Yoga Alliance as a ‘Registered Yoga Teacher-200 hours’ (RYT-200).
The course covers the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga, including asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology.
Ashtanga Vinyasa is suitable for everyone! If you practice with the guidance of a knowledgeable teacher, they will assist you in modifying the sequence to suit your body. The external appearance of the postures is not important, as the main focus of the practice is internal awareness and the breath. With regular exercise, your body will strengthen and open, and you will progress further in the physical practice of the sequence.
There are no strict age restrictions, but participants should be at least 18 years old. The course is suitable for people of all ages as long as they are in good physical health.
